In the Philippine market, FAW light trucks have maintained stable sales of over 2,000 units for two consecutive years thanks to their reliable product quality. With continuous optimization and improvement of its distribution network, it has become one of the preferred light truck brands trusted by local users. To accelerate the expansion into the overseas high-end light truck market, the project team successfully completed the planning, R&D, trial production, and trial assembly of the FAW low-emission Tiger 6G product within three months, ultimately delivering 32 cargo trucks and 32 dump trucks, fulfilling its commitment to the market through concrete actions.

The FAW low-emission Tiger 6G high-end light truck, with its three core advantages of high cost-effectiveness, reliable power, and superior load-bearing capacity, has successfully entered the high-end market of low-emission countries, becoming a preferred product for overseas users.

High cost performance:

The Tiger 6G cab is the first to be equipped with a mechanical pump engine, specially designed to meet the needs of the local market. Its interior and exterior are trendy and stylish, combining quality and appearance, allowing users in the low-emission market to enjoy a high-end product experience.

Reliable power:

Equipped with a 4.2L large-displacement mechanical pump engine, it boasts stable and reliable performance, strong power output, enabling high-volume and high-speed operation, and can easily handle both uphill and downhill driving, ensuring worry-free operation throughout the journey.

Super strong load-bearing capacity:

The cargo vehicle uses a large-width straight beam with an upgraded load-bearing axle, while the dump vehicle uses a double-layer plate frame with a high-load-bearing axle and reinforced leaf spring suspension, providing excellent load-bearing capacity and helping users increase their profits.

In recent years, FAW's overseas light truck business has achieved leapfrog growth, with sales repeatedly reaching new highs. Sales exceeded 5,000 units in 2023, climbed to 11,000 units in 2024, and surpassed 14,000 units in 2025, demonstrating strong momentum. In September 2024, the Overseas Light Vehicle PDT team was established, integrating resources across R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to achieve synergistic efforts and efficient collaboration, effectively breaking through overseas market barriers and providing strong support for the rapid development of overseas business. FAW light trucks are flourishing in multiple overseas markets, achieving frequent successes. In the South African market, with its focused localized operations, light truck sales reached 2,700 units in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 130%. The specially developed AMT model secured 220 orders, gaining widespread recognition and favor in the local market. The Myanmar market achieved a historic breakthrough, with orders jumping from over a hundred units in 2024 to over a thousand units in 2025, successfully entering the core market of over a thousand units. In March 2026, another large order of 700 units was secured, demonstrating strong growth momentum.

Looking to the future, FAW will continue to stay on track with its "International FAW" development direction, deeply implement FAW's "SPRINT 2030" internationalization strategy, uphold its commitment to quality, focus on user needs, and continuously launch high-quality light truck products that are better suited to the needs of different global markets. It will also strive to explore new blue ocean markets overseas and help Chinese commercial vehicle brands conquer the world and gain global renown.
