According to the latest Beidou terminal sales data: From January to October 2025, FAW Jiefang maintained its leading position in the industry with a 23% overall market share in medium and heavy-duty trucks. Traditional models performed particularly well: 23.7% for tractors, 29% for cargo trucks, and 27.6% for new energy vehicles (NGs), all three segments holding the top position in the industry. Meanwhile, its market share in new energy medium and heavy-duty trucks reached 14.9%, a year-on-year increase of 4.1 percentage points, continuing to lead the industry's growth rate. New energy tractor trucks, with a market share of 16.4%, once again topped the industry sales charts, further consolidating FAW Jiefang's leading position in the Chinese commercial vehicle market.
Regionally, FAW Jiefang's market penetration continued to strengthen. In October, it ranked first in terminal sales in 13 provinces across China, including Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Anhui, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Jiangxi, Fujian, and Hainan. Notably, Shandong and Jiangsu, two key regions, successively held regional celebrations for 10,000 vehicles sold, demonstrating the brand's deep user base and strong market appeal.
Traditional Automotive Market: Leading the Way, Dominating the Market
Market reaction: After a five-month period of sluggishness, the natural gas (NG) segment of the market saw a strong rebound in September and October. Domestic NG medium and heavy-duty truck sales surged by 161.6% and 148.5% year-on-year in September and October, respectively, with market share rebounding to 30%, reversing the downward trend. As the leader in this segment, FAW Jiefang accurately grasped policy and market demand, with sales of over 6,000 NG medium and heavy-duty trucks in September and over 5,000 in October. Cumulative sales from January to October this year exceeded 42,000 units, maintaining a stable market share of 28%, continuing its leading position.
Jiefang understands that natural gas vehicles have significant advantages in operating costs, thus attracting truck drivers. Although the heating season has begun in northern China, the government's push to scrap and replace older National III and National IV emission standard commercial trucks, coupled with the "Double Eleven" logistics peak, still injected a strong boost into the market. FAW Jiefang seized the opportunity to deepen its product layout in the traditional vehicle sector: the Jiefang J7 series high-end heavy trucks achieved monthly sales of over 1,000 units for two consecutive months in September and October; at the same time, in the natural gas vehicle sector, it completed upgrades to key models and critical assemblies such as the J6V and Eagle, comprehensively enhancing product premium capabilities and customer value.

New Energy Vehicle Market: Rapid Advancement, Leading the Transformation
If FAW Jiefang's approach in the traditional vehicle market was one of "steady progress," then its advancement in the new energy vehicle market can be described as "rapid advancement." According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), domestic sales of new energy commercial vehicles reached 83,000 units in September, with a penetration rate exceeding 30% for the first time! This represents a 26.2% increase month-on-month and a 71.9% increase year-on-year. In September, FAW Jiefang topped the new energy medium and heavy-duty truck market with sales exceeding 3,800 units, capturing a 17.6% market share. In October, Jiefang's new energy medium and heavy-duty truck sales exceeded 2,360 units, bringing the cumulative sales from January to October to 21,000 units, maintaining its leading growth rate and becoming a "main force" in the green transformation of China's commercial vehicle industry.
As early as 2021, FAW Jiefang released its "15333" new energy strategy, becoming one of the earliest companies in the industry to systematically deploy new energy technologies. Today, the company has achieved full independent control of the core technologies of "three electrics" (battery, motor, and electronic control system), building a complete industrial ecosystem covering key components such as self-developed battery packs, motors, electric drive axles, and electric drive boxes. In October of this year, FAW Jiefang and Guoxuan High-Tech conducted in-depth exchanges to deepen their strategic cooperation on issues such as the development of the new energy commercial vehicle industry, battery technology upgrades and supply chain collaboration, and to work together to plan for future development.

R&D as the Engine: Innovation-Driven Market Expansion
Behind the product strength lies the support of FAW Jiefang's R&D capabilities. In September, Jiefang further expanded its product matrix, bringing a groundbreaking product to the medium-duty truck market—the J6G Pro series was officially launched! Green channel, cold chain, and express delivery versions were launched simultaneously, leveraging its core advantages of "super power, brand-new styling, intelligent connectivity, and exclusive customization" to comprehensively meet users' diverse needs for economy, comfort, intelligence, and ease of modification, quickly gaining market recognition.
Concurrently, Jiefang's R&D capabilities reached a new level! On October 18th, the FAW Jiefang (Wuxi) R&D Capability Enhancement Project was officially completed. This project plays a crucial role in Jiefang's global R&D layout across "four countries and nine locations," and will significantly enhance its technological innovation and product development capabilities in the powertrain field. At the event, FAW Jiefang launched two major products for non-road mining dump trucks in the H-Smart Power Domain: the HDRE400 (400kW diesel range extender) and the HSRE400 (400kW natural gas range extender), providing FAW Jiefang solutions for the powertrain of mining dump trucks in the industry and further expanding market space.

Rooted in Regional Markets: Building a Strong Reputation and Solidifying the Foundation
Furthermore, FAW Jiefang has achieved remarkable sales results in its regional markets—on October 16th, sales of medium and heavy-duty trucks in Shandong Province surpassed 10,000 units; on October 25th, Jiangsu Province also celebrated its 10,000-unit milestone. These consecutive successes in two key markets demonstrate the strong penetration and customer trust of the Jiefang brand in these regions. FAW Jiefang consistently approaches the market with a "wartime" mentality and a "fighting" spirit, adhering to a customer-centric approach to build a golden reputation as "Jiefang Trucks: Money-Making Machines" and solidify its brand image as "FAW Jiefang: Leading the Way."
Moreover, at the 138th Canton Fair this autumn, FAW Jiefang showcased its mainstream models, demonstrating the extraordinary charm of "Made in China" to the world. That same month, mainstream media outlets such as Xinhua News Agency and CCTV Finance also focused their attention on FAW Jiefang, giving it high praise and enthusiastically endorsing the national brand's new energy development and outstanding overseas export performance!
